The Southern Showdown is excited to announce the 2012 game will feature UNC vs Penn State on February 11th, and will be played at the new KSU stadium. Mission: The Southern Showdown showcases lacrosse at its most elite level, while maintaining a very strong tradition of direct community involvement and education. The college programs who participate epitomize the tradition, humility, and integrity that is the foundation of the sport. Each program’s contributions back to the community reflect the strength of the lacrosse “family,” and the robust and selfless network of its alumni.
